Thank you card with paper stitching

Box Full Of Donuts

When I started crafting a few years ago I watched tons of card making videos every week to learn about all the different techniques. I stumbled upon this video by Yainea at the time and made a similar card. I still love the design to this day and decided to recreate it recently for a sweet-toothed friend.

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge: Mood Board

As a winner of this Create A Smile Stamps challenge (YAY!) I was asked to create a card as inspiration for one of their last challenges. Unfortunately, I did not get around to posting it at the time but in case you are interested this mood board was part of the challenge:

And here is what I came up with:

Supplies: Cool Cuts Focal, Pure Poppies, Wagen voller Schätze and the Huge Polka Dots stencil by Create A Smile Stamps, Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger

Cacti Love

I absolutely love cati. They're my favorite plants - and truth be told -  the only plants I'm able to keep alive. So for my sister's birthday this year I gravitated towards this stamp set and I had a great time coloring these cati images with my brush markers. I chose warm brown tones and all shades of green and yellow for a summery look. Enjoy!

In Love, engaged and married

This card tells a couple's story with 'polaroids' from falling in love and taking the first selfie together to getting engaged and married. ''Verliebt, verlobt, verheiratet'', as we say in German. I hope you like this wedding card!

Mother's Day Card 2019

My take on this year's Mother's Day card. I kept the sentiment simple and small and let the beautiful flowers take center stage.

Stenciled Birthday Card

I found myself in a bit of a creative rut this month. I only created one card in January and had very few ideas for new cards. In order to get out of this rut I did what everybody tells you to do which is to TRY SOMETHING NEW. And it worked! I've wanted to work with glitter pastes and stencils for a while so I treated myself to a few new products and sat down one Saturday practicing this new technique. It was so much fun. I ended up creating around ten backgrounds that day and felt very inspired. Watch out for some sparkly new cards like this one right here:

Pink Bubbles Birthday Card

Hello everyone and A Happy New Year :) It's been a while....

I had to take a few months off from crafting and skip holiday cards altogether at the end of last year (which was hard!) to focus on a very time consuming home renovation. I'm glad this is all over now and I'm back at my crafting desk although I must admit that I felt a bit rusty when I tried to put this card together the other day. I chose bright pink colors and one of my favorite techniques - 'watercolor smooshing' - for this card. Hope you like it!
