New Baby Card For Leni

Whenever my cards are given away in person I like to add a nice envelope that matches my card in color as well as a handmade bow. I really love this color theme. The soft pink goes well with the craft card stock and the shimmery details give my card a girly look.

Shades Of Pink Newborn Card

I wanted to create a very "girly" newborn card with different shades of pink and a little bit of glitter and thought this was a good opportunity to try the bokeh technique for the first time. I really love how the background turned out and it was fairly easy to make. I simply die cut a bunch of circles out of some masking paper and used the negative piece as a stencil. I rotated my stencil a few times to slightly overlap a few circles.

Then I cut small strips of light pink, bright pink and white cardstock and glued them together for a striped look that I used for the die cut pieces.

HALLO!

I'm back with another Magic Slider Card. This time I used products by Create A Smile Stamps. Love this type of cards although it still takes me forever to create them. I think this makes a great card for a kid's birthday.

Happy Monsters

How cute are these little monsters? This card was so much fun to make. To start off I die cut a circle out of my background piece and used the 'Balloons in the sky' stamp set by Create A Smile Stamps on it. I blended some distress inks over the balloons and made sure to apply more pressure on the top of the card and less on the bottom for an ombre effect. Then I stamped the monsters onto the die cut circle and colored them with Copic markers. I put fun foam behind the balloon background for some dimension.
