Vintage Engagement Congratulations Card

I've had this floral sticky fabric in my stash for a long time and when I was asked to create a vintage themed engagement card it immediately came to my mind. I die cut it with the "Wonky Stitched Rectangle" by My Favorite Things and really like the stitching on the fabric. Since engagement screams all things "heart" I thought it would be a good opportunity to use this heart die by Concord & 9th again. I created a soft blue, beige and gold watercolor panel and used it for all the die cut elements on this card.

Blue and Gold Heartstrings

I once again used my beloved ink smooshing technique to create this card. With all watercolor techniques out there I always get the best results with ink smooshing. I'm really into this color combo!
